Wasps or Bees?
Before you complete the form, please be sure that it's a swarm of bees that you're calling for and not a colony of german wasps. Many confuse wasps with bees (an easy mistake to make). Wasps
Wasp nests can vary in size and colour. If they are exposed and not underground then it usually looks like a lump of grey mud. You'll see the wasps flying in and out.
To the trained eye a wasp and a bee look quite different, not only in appearance, but also in the way that it flies and behaves. Wasps are generally faster and like to hover near the ground scanning for something to devour.
Bees
A bee colony will swarm to estabish a new colony (that's how they multipy). When they start swarming, the air will be full of bees and if you're anywhere near, you'll probably hear the buzzing and see a whole lot of bees. They usually settle in a bunch somewhere close to their original hive in a tree, on a wall or under an overhang and stay there for a few hours or even a few days, depending on how long it takes them to find a new home.
That is the best time to catch the swarm.
Bees usually swarm in spring, September and October, but sometimes also swarm in summer.
